Culture and History

World famous for the Braemar Gathering every September, the Braemar Games is not the only time pipe bands take to the streets of Braemar during the summer months and with frequent highland dancing displays throughout the summer it is wonderful to soak up the atmosphere.

Braemar Castle is a community operated 17th century castle with a gripping history and well worth a visit, as is Balmoral, holiday home of the royal family!
